The Presidency of the University of Samarra conducts corona examinations for students of the dormitories; to check on their health

 

Under the direct guidance of Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf, President of Samarra University, and in cooperation with the Samarra Health Department; The university has conducted a PCR examination for the students of the dormitories at the university; for ensuring their health, especially after symptoms appeared on two students who are in the dormitories.

The Samarra Health Department, represented by Mr. Wissam Kamal Lafta, the rapid response teams official, and Mr. Barzan Hassoun, the health care sector official at Al-Ifaraz Center, followed up on the cases of all dormitory students and conducted a PCR examination for detecting the Corona, under the supervision of Mr. Moaz Ahmed Hassan, director of departments. The follow-up of Mr. Badr Najm Lafta, Director of Security and Follow-up, in addition to Ms. Sarwa Madin Muhammad, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the university,

The health department’s results showed that there was no infection among the students in the dormitories, according to what was confirmed by the Samarra Health Department representative.

It is noteworthy that some pages of social networking sites have published rumors about the Corona cases in students of dormitories at the University of Samarra, but the examinations were conducted on the evening of Monday, August 9, 2021, confirmed that the dormitories are free of infection.
