Recently, a book was issued by Assistant Lecturer Jinan Shaker Ali, a professor at Samarra University, College of Islamic Sciences, by the Nashiroon Corporation, entitled (Ruling on Captagon abuse in Islamic jurisprudence … a contemporary jurisprudence study)
Where the researcher dealt with the jurisprudential judgment of Captagon in all its forms (pills, injections, smell, and smoking), and after a thorough study from the medical side, it was found that Captagon is one of the chemical derivatives of amphetamine (a narcotic substance). Also, she has shown the usage rules for physicians to anesthetize patients in limited quantities and to treat many cases with it, provided that the patient is not harmed. The Islamic Fiqh Council addressed the prohibition of taking Captagon without need and punishing the abuser.
