The University of Samarra – College of Applied Sciences installs an integrated solar energy system
Under the guidance of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi, Khalaf, and the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayser Saleh Muhammad, in an initiative that is the first of its kind at the University of Samarra, the College of Applied Sciences installs a complete system for solar energy as part of the requirements for operating the central laboratory in the college so that the building of the Deanship is the first environmentally friendly building within the University of Samarra and depends on clean, environmentally friendly energy, which is an Important requirement to enter many international rankings.
The system will be operational in the next few days, and this is the second step for the college in investing in sustainable energy, as solar energy was used in lighting the halls of the college by equipping them earlier with lamps that run on solar energy.
