The University of Samarra – College of Arts launches a monthly online student newspaper
Entitled “Oasis of Literature” and under the general supervision of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi, and the Editor-in-Chief the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Ahmed Azzawi Muhammad, and under the editorial direction of the Dean associate for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Raad Sarhan Ibrahim, the Deanship of the College of Arts launched an online monthly newspaper; for students to publish their articles and their social, cultural, sports and other topics, excluding contents of a “religious and political” character; The fact that the newspaper is published on the university campus and does not want the political, controversial and sectarian contents to be published on its pages.
This media comes as an initiative to discover the talents and creative students. The newspaper will open its e-mail to receive student articles from all colleges and departments of the university, to be included in the upcoming press editions of the newspaper, in a way that enhances the spirit of encouragement and creativity for students of the University of Samarra.
From here, the newspaper invites students in the College of Arts and other colleges to prepare their writings that they intend to publish, and submit it to the editorial board via the following e-mail: [email protected]; to look at it with first comes will be first served. The first issue will be issued at the end of May.
