The University of Samarra in the Russian Ranking Report for the year 2021

 

The President of Samarra University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, announced that the University of Samarra is progressing from the 30th to the 27th rank locally in the Russian classification during the current year.
The results of the Russian RUR classification for the year 2021 showed (48) Iraqi governmental and private universities have appeared.

An increase in the number of Iraqi universities included in the classification was noted by (12) universities.

This classification uses (20) indicators distributed on four axes, namely
1- Education and scientific research indicators
2- International diversity
3- Financial sustainability of the educational institution.
4- Clarivate analytics containers

These indicators are used mainly for data collection.

It evaluates 1,100 universities and educational institutions from more than 82 countries around the world.

Baghdad University came first locally and 571th internationally, Basra ranked second locally, and 665 globally, Al-Mustansiriya third locally, and 680 globally.
The University of Samarra locally advanced to 27th place out of 48 out of 36 last year.

Thus, it has advanced on 19 Iraqi universities.

The President of the University congratulated all the employees for this achievement, urging everyone to do more for the continued positioning of the university in its rightful place and the continuation of its development at the scientific, research, and urban level, in a manner that serves the educational process in all fields.
