The University of Samarra performs safety equipment for all buildings and facilities
In an implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to follow the highest levels of security and safety in buildings and service facilities in universities to avoid any accidents resulting from electrical contact or fires inside the educational and academic buildings.
Under the direction of the President of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf, and supervision of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Zuhair Qasim Muhammad, a campaign to secure safety and security measures was launched, as it included the maintenance of all electricity sources and their subsidiary connections.
Providing all administrative departments and divisions with 50KGM fire extinguishers carried on a movable vehicle.
Also, equipping the offices and units with a fire alarm system
The main hallways of the buildings are equipped with fire extinguishers weighing 6KGM.
Also, Allawi instructed to follow the daily schedule of the civil defense services for the university staff, according to a scheduled system.
