The University of Samarra – Civil Defense Division organizes a workshop on safety measures and civil defense at our university
Under the guidance of the President of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf, and supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Faris Attia, and in cooperation with the Civil Defense Division at the University of Samarra, the Civil Defense Unit at the Deanship of the College of Education held a workshop to train the staff to deal with fire and electrical contact accidents by using portable fire extinguishers weighing 12 kilos and carried on a 50-kilo vehicle and self-separating. The staff was trained to use the fire extinguishing system. Mr. Dia Ayyash, head of the Civil Defense Division at the Presidency, gave a detailed lecture on how to use fire extinguishers and how to deal with fires and accidents if they occurred. He stressed the commitment to all safety and security conditions in buildings and public facilities.
