The University of Samarra signs a scientific cooperation agreement with Wasit University

 

The University of Samarra signed a scientific and cultural cooperation agreement with Wasit University on Wednesday, 06/30/2021 AD. The delegation of the University of Samarra was headed by Prof. Dr. Zuhair Qassem Muhammad, the vice president for Administrative Affairs on behalf of the President, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai.

This agreement of the University of Samarra comes within a series of scientific agreements signed by the university with local, Arab, and international universities to develop scientific and cultural cooperation and establish direct relations between the two parties.

1. Exchanging experiences and delivering scientific lectures.

2. Conducting joint research.

3. Academic sabbatical for a period of six months to one year, and teaching for one semester or more, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

4. Participation in supervising theses (Master’s and Ph.D.) and the participation of professors and teaching staff at the rank of professor and assistant professor in the discussion committees for graduation research for students of primary studies.

5. An invitation between the two parties to participate in conferences, symposia, workshops, seminars, and exchange visits between the two parties for training and exchange of experiences. The two parties exchange student delegations and scientific and cultural visits that serve students.

6. Exchange of books, publications, theses, scientific reviews, and research results in scientific fields.
