The University of Samarra – The University Council discusses the date of the final exams and the preparation of the dormitories to welcome students

 

Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, President of the University of Samarra, chaired the eighth open session, starting from Sunday, June 20, 2021, until Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in the presence of the vice president of the university for scientific and administrative affairs, deans of the colleges, and in the presence of the Secretary of the University Council.

The session’s curriculum included a review of the most important new developments of the university, which includes the opening of an evening study in the College of Agriculture in its two departments (field crops and horticulture), as well as the opening of an evening study at the College of Applied Sciences, Department (Biotechnologies) for the academic year 2021-2022 AD.

Al-Samarrai also directed the members of the Council to follow up on the final in-person and electronic exams, raise a daily position for students following the approved ministerial instructions for integrated education, and set the date and time for final exams for graduate and primary studies.

Dr. Allawi ordered to take care of the dormitories, provide the necessary supplies and prepare them to welcome students, and reduce (parallel) study fees for fraternal students by 10%.

Allawi stressed the topic of scientific research and urged faculty and graduate students to publish papers in international publishing sites in scientific conferences.
