The President of the University of Samarra meets with members of the College of Engineering
Within the framework of his continuous work to visit the scientific departments and attend the college councils meeting, the President of Samarra University, Prof. Dr. (Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai) visited the College of Engineering on Monday, June 6, 2021.
He chaired the meeting of the College Council, in the presence of the Dean, Prof. Dr. (Rasheed Hamid Yassin), and some of the professors.
During the meeting, several topics and issues were discussed at the scientific and constructional levels. The issue of opening evening studies in the coming years in the college’s departments (electromechanical, architectural, and civil) was discussed, and some observations and suggestions related to the topic were made.
At the end of the visit, the President of the University listened to some proposals submitted by the professors of the College of Engineering to develop the work of scientific laboratories in the College, while Al-Samarrai indicated that it is one of his priorities in the next period.
