A delegation from the United Nations IOM visits the University of Samarra
Prof. Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed – Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs – welcomed in his office headed by the University of Samarra the delegation of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) of the United Nations headed by Ms. (Shivon), accompanied by a delegation (Lion Organization) for Iraqi culture and development.
The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between the two delegations, especially after the university began to contribute to creating scientific and knowledge impact in various fields and in a way that supports academic progress and its societal role.
For his part, Ms. Shivon and Mr. Sadiq Al-Rubaie stressed the need to support the University of Samarra and exchange cooperation with it to increase its development and progress at all levels, with the need to take into account the importance of its activities and its remarkable growth in several fields.
Prof. Ahmed Azzawi Muhammad -Dean of the College of Arts-, Dr. Ghassan Ali Mustafa – Head of the Archeology Department – at the college, Professor Yasser Muhammad Saleh – Associate Dean of the College of Education-, attended the meeting, and some university professors.
