The University of Samarra – College of Engineering make a scientific visit to the Samarra Steam Station.
Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Rashid Hamid Yassin, and the supervision of a team headed by the head of the Electromechanical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud, the department made a scientific visit to the senior students to the Samarra Steam Station in Al-Jalsiyya to see what the station had achieved in the advanced stages of the production of electrical energy and to familiarize students with this stage and to compare what the students study, the practical reality and the mechanism of operating the stations and production. This visit is a continuation of the previous visits to the station, which accompanied the steps of establishing the station until the completion and operation of the first unit. The students were accompanied on the visit by a technical delegation from the Electromechanical Engineering Department. The visit was welcomed by the station officials, working engineers, technicians, and the Chinese company.
