Physical Education organizes a symposium on women’s rights in international treaties

 

In the presence of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. (Mohammed Salih Khalil) and the Scientific Associate, the Continuing Education Unit in the college, in partnership with the Continuing Education Center at the University Presidency, organized an in-person workshop entitled (Women’s Rights in International Treaties, Charters and Internal Laws).

It was delivered by the professor (Majid Hamed Badr) to the owners of our college, specializing in law, and the head of the Legal Affairs Unit, on Monday, 6/12/2021, in one of the continuing education halls in the college.

Some college students attended the workshop as they are the targets of such activities, especially those related to the Women Empowerment Unit.

The lecturer touched on women’s rights in religion, law, and society, their rights and duties enacted by Sharia and law, which made the female students open up about those rights and responsibilities.
