A scientific symposium in the Department of Geography addresses the problem of drought and desertification in Iraq

 

The Department of Geography at the College of Education at the University of Samarra held an attendance scientific symposium entitled “The Problem of Drought and Decreased Water Resources and Its Impact on Economic Development,” which was delivered by the professor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Rashid Abdul Latif, in the department hall.
The symposium clarified the environmental effects of this problem represented by the increased risks of desertification and pollution of the Iraqi environment.
The scientific symposium stressed the need to take the necessary measures to address this problem.
The symposium witnessed a prominent presence by the interested and students.
