Violence against women and her childhood, a panel discussion held by the College of Engineering

 

Under the supervision and guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud, Dean of the College of Engineering at Samarra University, and in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Riad Azawi Badr, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Women Empowerment Unit at the College held a panel discussion entitled (Violence against Women and her childhood) on Monday 6/12/2021, it was presented by Engineer Sina Younis Hammadi, an employee at the College of Engineering, and Ms. Nour Hamid Abbas, an employee at the University Presidency, Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance.

They spoke on several axes, including the forms and causes of violence against women, the social and economic consequences, and the axis of the family establishment of violence against women, such as domestic violence, its causes, and impact.
They also talked about types of violence, such as physical, mental, psychological, and social violence.
The discussion was attended by a group of professors, staff, and students.
