A College of Applied Sciences delegation made a scientific visit to the General Company for the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Appliances

A delegation from a college visited the State Company for the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Appliances in Samarra city.

The delegation included the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wael Muhammad Mahdi, and the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Eng. Ziad Tariq Ibrahim, Head of Applied Chemistry Department, Prof. Harith Jamil Mahdi, Head of Biotechnology Department, Prof. Dr. Omar Thaer Jawad, and Head of Graduate Studies Unit, Eng. Omar Abdullah Ahmed and the follow-up official at the college, Mr. Ahmed Ali.

They were welcomed by the Director-General of the Chemical Company, Khaled Mohie, and a group of members of its board of directors. Mr. Khaled welcomed the visiting delegation, and the two parties discussed matters related to cooperation in the interest of society. The visit emphasized the need to open up prospects for cooperation in the corresponding specializations and find standard solutions to the company’s scientific research problems and benefit from the scientific competencies at the level of the two institutions.

At the end of the visit, the company’s General Manager commended this meeting and the need to repeat it in the future.
