The University of Samarra – a faculty from the College of Arts publishes a new book
A book by Dr. Siham Hassan Al-Samarrai, entitled (The Postmodern Narrative Imaginary), was recently published by Mashki for Publishing and Distribution, from the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts.
Nowadays, the novel is one of the most important types of narrative arts used in the reading community in the Arab world, to the extent that some critics considered it to represent a separate literary genre on its own. It is not a type of storytelling according to the traditional division.
Hence the book’s interest in the novel as an exciting magical world in its language, characters, time, place, and events.
