Cooperation between the College of Engineering and Samarra General Hospital
After communication between Dr. Ali Khalaf, Director of Samarra General Hospital, and Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud, Dean of the College of Engineering, about the cracks in some parts of the Samarra General Hospital building, the Dean of the College of Engineering directed the advisory office to dispatch the professor, Muhammad Abdul-Jabbar, one of the consultants of the engineering advisory office of the University of Samarra, to examine the problem on the ground.
They agreed in principle to form an engineering advisory team to develop structural treatments to sustain some hospital buildings’ work and ensure the continuity of service provision to patients and hospital visitors.
