Samarra Spring Engineering Festival launches
The College of Engineering inaugurated its first festival under the title (Samarra’s Engineering Spring) in the presence of the President of Samarra University, Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi al-Samarrai, accompanied by his vice for scientific affairs and several deans of colleges at the university.
The festival included a scientific symposium in addition to an exhibition of engineering products belonging to college students from all scientific departments and an open buffet with a small sum of money collected for low-income families.
Al-Samarrai said, “We are continuing to support the College of Engineering, as it is one of the scientific colleges in our university, especially since it has recently achieved a qualitative leap scientifically and academically.”
He added, “It was distinguished by diligence, creativity, and innovations in the field of education, as well as the continuous and diligent follow-up of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Saleh Muhammad, to complete the requirements for completing and submitting engineering work to students of the finished stages of importance in community service through dealing with state institutions and departments. Service and in various fields.
It is noteworthy that the applied and practical graduation projects are considered the solid nucleus in preparing qualified engineers capable of developing the correct scientific solutions and keeping pace with scientific development in design, manufacturing, development, and presenting creative ideas regarding the city of Samarra.
