Samarra University is shining in Scopus containers, according to the report of the Ministry of Higher Education
According to the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Samarra has achieved a clear and essential presence in the international containers -Scopus-, which proved the university’s presence in the scientific research output in containers with some (320) research paper published in respected international journals, with different specializations, including: (Pharmaceuticals and research into toxicology and pharmacology, engineering, chemistry and genetics, astronomy and physics, agronomy and biology, the science of equipment, elements or tools, in addition to ecology, medicine, chemistry, as well as social sciences, and other contributions.
This statistic showed remarkable progress for the university and its teaching staff, within the international capacities, especially in the last three years.
Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi, President of the University, blessed this critical progress and called on researchers for more perseverance and efforts in raising the knowledge and academic status of research aspects within the university and in all disciplines.
