The Ministry of Construction and Housing, represented by the General Directorate of Sewers, has awarded the contract to supervise the Samarra City Sewerage Project implementation to the Engineering Consulting Office at Samarra University.
This assignment came through the representative’s efforts in the Iraqi parliament for the city, Eng. Khaled Al-Samarrai, who communicated with the Ministry of Construction and Housing and followed up on the problem and suffering of the Samarra Sewage Project, and discussed with Mr. Samir Ibrahim – Director General of the Planning and Follow-up Department – in the ministry the project’s delay and obstruction of traffic in the city and its manifestation for the devastation features that affected most of the streets. This prompted the necessity of contracting with an engineering office at Samarra University to supervise the implementation of the work – according to the deputy’s opinion.
It is noteworthy that the Engineering Consulting Office supervised and implemented many important projects inside and outside the city. This task was entrusted to it based on its solid reputation and advantageous position.
