The University of Samarra presents the effects of drugs on society and the position of the law on it
The Department of Qur’anic Sciences at the College of the Education/University of Samarra organized a symposium on “The Effects of Drugs on Society and Methods of Treatment in Iraqi Law,” delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Yousif Mudher Ahmed.
During the symposium, they talked about the effect of drugs on society and how to treat it, especially after it has become one of the biggest problems facing humanity and one of the pests that threaten young people and threaten Iraqi families.
Especially with the serious adverse effects, it presents on every family member and society. Awareness was required through seminars, conferences, and lectures; To reduce this dangerous phenomenon and familiarise the community with the Iraqi provisions and laws that stipulate various penalties.
