Assistant Professor Dr. Adnan Talfah – Head of the Psychological Abuse and Educational Guidance Division – participated in the university presidency in the training workshop held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on curbing violent extremism, organized in cooperation with UNESCO.
Talfah’s participation supports the societal peace process and the quest to end the manifestations of extremism in university circles, whose decline continues daily. And that is through raising awareness, educating, and guiding against such destructive ideas.
The workshop also witnessed a program presentation for verifying the validity of news information and how to deal with it, using techniques for ascertaining information and media messages, and mechanisms of understanding, analysis, and evaluation.
