The University of Samarra hosts astronomical observations during the solar eclipse
The Presidency of the University of Samarra hosted the non-governmental organization of the Salah Al-Din Astronomical Observation Team on Tuesday, 25 October, To monitor the phenomenon of a solar eclipse in the city.
The hosting came to educate students about the phenomenon of eclipses that occurred in several countries and guide them about the lack of direct visual exposure to it.
They used specialized telescopes and specific filters to look at the sun during the eclipse and specialized technical programs to follow the movement of the planets.
