An awareness seminar at Samarra University, in conjunction with International Children’s Day
The Psychological Counseling Division at the Presidency of Samarra University held an awareness symposium on International Children’s Day in Al-Mutasim Hall at Samarra University.
The symposium aims to introduce the child’s rights, the importance of healthy nutrition in building his stature and the integrity of his physical mass, and in parallel with it, the psychological aspect of the child and its reflection on his behavior and upbringing.
The symposium included an introductory presentation of the disadvantages and harms of technology and electronic means to children and their health and the problems that this technology inherits, especially since a child’s eye is incomplete and needs nourishment and healthy development.
The symposium was delivered by:
– Dr. Faten Abdel-Jalil Hameed, a specialist in Pediatrics Board.
– Professor Qutaiba Mikhlif Abbas / human rights specialist.
– Mr. Marwan Ahmed Khalaf / specialist in children’s technology
