Students of the College of Administration and Economics in a scientific experiment at the Samarra Pharmaceutical Factory

The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics at Samarra University organized a scientific field experiment for third-year students through an applied visit to the General Company for the Manufacturing of Medicines and Medical Supplies in Samarra.

The experiment aims to achieve the applied aspect of the subject (cost accounting), which they study within the scientific curriculum prescribed in the lesson schedules for the undergraduate level.

The visit, which the department professors supervised, included identifying the nature of work in the financial department, the costs department, and the inventory control division.

During this experiment, the students learned how to calculate the costs of each product, wages, direct and indirect expenses, and how to price the product after completing it in the final state.
