Physics Department Implements the Laboratory Assistant Program

The Physics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Samarra implemented the “Laboratory Assistant” program, which aims to involve students in supporting laboratory activities and developing their practical and professional skills. The program was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Nawfal Abdulrahman Hamoud and Assistant Lecturer Alaa Khalid Yassin, as part of the department’s efforts to enhance the educational process and apply academic accreditation standards.

A group of outstanding fourth-year students was selected according to specific academic and behavioral criteria. The program includes field training in laboratory management and basic equipment maintenance, contributing to providing technical support to their peers in other academic stages.

This step comes in response to the requirements of the National Council for Accreditation of Programs of Colleges of the Educational Group, particularly the Student Criterion, which emphasizes the importance of integrating students into supportive educational processes, enhancing their life and professional skills, and better preparing them for the labor market before graduation.
