Dean of the College of Engineering Conducts Field Visit to New Building Projects Within \”Samarra: Capital of Civilization\” Plan

The Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Samarra, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjed Saleh Mahmood, conducted an extensive field tour to oversee the progress of construction works for two new buildings within the college campus. This visit comes as part of the direct follow-up on completion rates and to resolve any technical obstacles facing the implementation phases.

These construction efforts are an integral part of the ambitious package of engineering and development projects currently underway at the university. They are included within the Samarra city development plan, activating the “Samarra: Capital of Islamic Civilization” law.

These steps reflect the integration between the academic institution and national efforts aimed at reviving the city’s historical status by modernizing its vital facilities. Through these projects, the College Deanship seeks to create a qualitative leap in the educational and research environment, keeping pace with modern architectural standards to serve the scientific journey of the students and faculty of the University of Samarra.

In turn, the Deanship of the College appreciates the tireless efforts of the Engineering Committee for the “Samarra: Capital of Islamic Civilization” law and their effective cooperation in completing projects with the required precision and specifications. In the same context, the Deanship values the distinguished executive role played by the Resident Engineer’s Office in the Construction and Projects Department at our university.
