Department of Computer Science at the College of Applied Sciences Discusses Digital Citizenship in a Scientific Seminar

The Department of Computer Science at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, held a scientific seminar entitled “Digital Citizenship,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Omar Hamed Faleh, with the aim of equipping students with technical skills and fostering a sense of technological responsibility.

During the seminar, the lecturer highlighted the role of e-government in providing fast and efficient services, as well as the principles of digital citizenship and electronic rights and responsibilities. The seminar also emphasized the complementary relationship between the digital citizen and an effective government system.

At the conclusion of the seminar, several important recommendations were presented, including the importance of educating students by engaging them in the digital society, practicing identity and personal data protection, and supporting cooperation between digital citizens and e-government in order to ensure a safe and secure digital community.
