The Digital Repository Committee at the College of Engineering Holds a Meeting to Discuss Publishing Mechanisms and Quality Assurance

The Data Upload Committee of the digital repository within the new academic platform at the College of Engineering, University of Samarra, held a meeting chaired by Eng. Ahmed Ali Hussein, Head of the Information Technology Department. The meeting aimed to discuss the workflow and overcome the technical and administrative obstacles facing the committee members in performing their duties.

It included a detailed review of the approved regulations for the electronic archiving process, while establishing a clear roadmap for reviewing and auditing scientific content to ensure its integrity before it is officially approved and published on the platform, thereby achieving the highest levels of accuracy and reliability.

For his part, the committee chair emphasized during the meeting the utmost importance of adhering to international quality standards in data management. He stressed that protecting intellectual property rights remains a constant priority throughout all stages of the work.

This technical movement is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance its digital presence and document its scientific output according to rigorous academic contexts that serve researchers and keep pace with the technological advancements witnessed by the university.
