Training Course on the Dangers of Heavy Metal Poisoning in Food and Methods of Prevention and Treatment
The College of Agriculture at Samarra University held a training course entitled, “Heavy Metal Poisoning in Food: Prevention and Treatment, and Foods Responsible for Detoxifying Heavy Metals from the Body,” as part of its scientific activities aimed at promoting health and nutritional awareness.
The course addressed important topics related to the concept of heavy metal poisoning, sources of food contamination, and its health effects on humans. It also reviewed the most important preventive and treatment methods and the role of certain foods in reducing the accumulation of these metals in the body and contributing to their elimination.

This course is part of a series of courses organized by the College of Agriculture to promote health and nutrition awareness and provide the community with scientific information that contributes to protecting public health and improving the food situation.
