The Department of Computer Science at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, held a training course entitled “Windows 11”, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Omar Hamed Faleh and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Ismail Lafta.
During the course, Faleh explained methods to bridge the gap created by advanced updates in operating systems, including updating digital skills, keeping pace with the latest system releases, and shifting from theoretical education to practical application. On the other hand, Lafta addressed the hardware and software fundamentals of computer systems, clarified how to work with basic desktop applications, and discussed optimal internet usage methods to support the requirements of university study.
In conclusion, the lecturers recommended focusing on the practical aspect of academic study, encouraging students to engage in self-learning and research, understanding the algorithms of desktop applications, and keeping up with the latest developments in digital fields.
