College of Applied Sciences Receives a Delegation from Al-Maarif University College of Health and Medical Technologies

The College of Applied Sciences at University of Samarra received a delegation from the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Maarif University. The delegation was welcomed by Professor Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Aysar Salih Mohammed, Dean of the College, along with the Associate Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and the Heads of Departments. The visit aimed to conclude a joint cooperation agreement between the two colleges.

During the visit, the delegation sought to enhance joint academic and research cooperation, exchange scientific expertise, and organize various activities such as seminars, workshops, and training courses.

In the same context, both parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of education and training, conducting joint research, developing scientific laboratories, and organizing scientific forums for researchers from both colleges, with the aim of supporting academic quality and advancing the educational level.

The delegation also conducted a field tour of the college’s facilities, reviewing the classrooms, scientific laboratories, and available equipment. They expressed their appreciation for the scientific capabilities and infrastructure that support the educational and research processes.

This visit comes within the framework of signing a twinning and scientific cooperation agreement between the two colleges to strengthen academic partnership and support the educational mission of both institutions.
