The Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education organizes a scientific seminar on resolving family disputes in light of Islamic jurisprudence

The Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education organized a scientific seminar entitled ‘Resolving Family Disputes in Light of Islamic Jurisprudence’, with the aim of explaining the Sharia-based foundations for addressing marital conflicts according to the approach of Islamic jurisprudence and its objectives in preserving the family and strengthening its stability.

The seminar sessions were presented by Assistant Lecturers Idris Adnan Ayyash, Abdullah Ibrahim Mahmoud, and Mohammed Naji Abd. The speakers discussed the foundational, jurisprudential, and practical aspects related to managing family disputes, highlighting the most important Sharia principles established by Islamic jurisprudence to address disagreements between spouses.

They focused on clarifying the causes of marital disputes and the ways to resolve them through advice, reconciliation, and family arbitration, based on Islamic texts and the opinions of jurists, in a manner that contributes to achieving balance and stability within the family.

The seminar aimed to enhance participants’ awareness of Islamic legal principles and enable them to understand sound jurisprudential approaches to addressing family problems, thereby supporting the building of stable families characterized by understanding, affection, and compassion.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the speakers emphasized that Islamic Sharia has established a comprehensive approach to resolving family disputes based on justice, wisdom, and gradual reform. They noted that adherence to the rulings and objectives of Sharia contributes to reducing family disintegration and strengthening social stability.
