The College of Education for Human Sciences commemorated the National Tree Planting Day through a voluntary campaign

The Media and Government Communication Division, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological and Educational Sciences and the Department of Qur’anic Sciences at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Samarra, organized a tree-planting campaign within the college gardens and surrounding areas on the occasion of the National Tree Planting Day, observed on March 12, 2026. The campaign was held under the slogan “A Seedling for Every Individual” and witnessed wide participation that reflected a spirit of cooperation, volunteerism, and concern for the university environment.

The campaign was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Badr Lafta Najm, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ismail Ibrahim, along with a number of faculty members, staff, and a group of college students.

The campaign included planting a number of trees, seedlings, and various plants in the green spaces of the college. The initiative aimed to expand green areas and improve the aesthetic appearance of the university campus, as well as promote a culture of environmental conservation and enhance environmental awareness among students.

This initiative also contributes to strengthening the values of teamwork and social responsibility, reflecting the commitment of the college members to support environmental initiatives that help build a healthy and sustainable university environment.
