A Central Committee from the University Presidency Visits the Laboratories of the College of Applied Sciences to Monitor Educational and Research Labs

A central committee concerned with monitoring educational and research laboratories visited the College of Applied Sciences. The committee was headed by Professor Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Shihab Ahmed Shawkat, Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the University Presidency.

They were received by Professor Dr. Aysar Salih Mohammed, Dean of the College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Qahtan Jasim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. The visit included a field tour of the educational and research laboratories.

The committee aimed to assess the quality level of the laboratories and their compliance with approved standards, as part of the university’s efforts to enhance the quality of education and scientific research. During the tour, the committee reviewed the available laboratory facilities, work mechanisms, and the extent of adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs emphasized the importance of adhering to laboratory quality standards issued by the Supervisory Body of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressing the need for their implementation to improve the academic and research standards of the college’s laboratories.
