The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences held its regular meeting in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs

The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences held its regular meeting, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafid Ali Hussein, Head of the Department, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Badr Lafta Najm, along with the teaching staff.

During the meeting, a number of academic and organizational issues were discussed. Emphasis was placed on the importance of improving students’ academic performance and strengthening attention to academic aspects. Preparations for the final examinations were reviewed to ensure smooth procedures and to provide an appropriate environment for students.

The attendees also discussed the mechanism for selecting the scientific committee, adopting criteria based on specialization and seniority in line with academic titles. In addition, the issue of the shortage of classrooms was addressed, with emphasis on the need to find solutions that contribute to providing a suitable educational environment.

In a related context, the provision of a camera system for the department was discussed, with support from the university presidency, due to its importance in enhancing organizational and administrative aspects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Assistant Dean praised the department’s efforts and excellence, commending the performance of the teaching staff. The Head of the Department also stressed the importance of continuing to work in a team spirit to achieve further progress and success at both the academic and administrative levels.
