Seminar for Discussing Fourth-Year Students’ Graduation Research – Department of Geography
The Department of Geography at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Samarra, organized a scientific seminar to discuss the graduation research projects of fourth-year female students, with the participation of a scientific committee composed of the department’s faculty members.
The sessions included detailed presentations of the graduation projects, during which the students presented the findings of their research in the fields of physical and human geography. They employed modern analytical tools that reflected an advanced level of research skills, in addition to the diversity of topics addressing environmental, demographic, and developmental issues relevant to the local context.
The discussions focused on evaluating the adopted methodologies, the accuracy in the use of sources and data, and providing academic feedback aimed at improving the research and raising its academic standard in line with the requirements of rigorous university research.
