College of Applied Sciences Organizes a Scientific Competition for Its Students
The College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra organized the preliminary rounds of a scientific competition for students from its four departments, titled “Science Olympiad,” in the presence of Prof. Dr. Aysar Saleh Mohammad (Dean of the College) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Marwan Qahtan Jasim (Scientific Assistant Dean).
Students from different academic stages participated in the competition, where the atmosphere was marked by enthusiasm and distinguished scientific competition, aiming to support students’ talents and develop their academic skills.
In a related context, the results concluded with the teams achieving the highest scores being crowned as champions of their respective departments, qualifying them for the final round of the competition.
The qualified teams for the final round included: the third-stage team from the Department of Pathological Analysis, the third-stage team from the Department of Biotechnology, the second-stage team from the Department of Applied Chemistry, and the first-stage team from the Department of Computer Science, after winning the titles of their respective departments.
