Deanery of the College of Engineering Opens Horizons for Direct Dialogue to Enhance the Stability of Female Students in Internal Departments

The Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Samarra, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjed Saleh Mahmood, led an extensive dialogue session bringing together female students of the internal departments with the department management. The meeting was held in the presence of the Director of Internal Departments, Assistant Lecturer Miqdad Ali Ahmed, with the aim of building bridges of trust and improving the service and educational reality of university housing.
The Dean emphasized that the internal departments represent a fundamental part of the academic environment and are not merely residences. He stressed the priority of providing stability and safety for female students and overcoming all obstacles facing them, while highlighting the necessity of combining commitment to official regulations with consideration for humanitarian aspects to ensure a stimulating study environment.
The meeting was characterized by transparency and openness, as students presented their observations regarding life in the departments, while the administrative and educational vision was clarified. This resulted in a direct directive from the Dean to activate fast and effective communication channels to address suggestions and complaints in a timely manner, emphasizing the application of the principle of procedural progression to ensure justice and preserve everyone’s dignity within an environment of mutual respect.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Dean inspected the internal departments’ administration building to oversee the workflow and meet with the supervisors.
