Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Ali Saeed, a faculty member in the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Samarra, has published a scientific paper in the Al-Isra University Journal of Applied Sciences in Palestine, a journal indexed in Scopus (Q4).
His research is entitled:
“Efficiency of Using Magnetic Treatment Technology and Iron Oxide Nanoparticles (Fe₃O₄) in Improving Well Water Quality and Its Effect on Certain Growth Characteristics of Mung Bean (Vigna radiata L.).”
The study aimed to evaluate the role of iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe₃O₄) and a water magnetization device in treating well water and improving its physical and chemical properties for agricultural use, in addition to reducing the concentrations of certain heavy elements and salts present in it.
The results showed that the combination of iron oxide nanoparticles and the water magnetization device achieved the highest efficiency in treating well water, as well as improving several physical and chemical properties of the treated water, making it more suitable for agricultural applications.
