The College of Education for Human Sciences announces the opening of applications for postgraduate studies for the academic year 2026–2027
The College of Education for Human Sciences – University of Samarra announces the launch of online applications for postgraduate studies across its various departments, starting from May 3, 2026, and continuing until June 11, 2026, through the electronic application form available on the official website (adm.rdd.edu.iq).
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Jassim, explained that the application process requires completing a set of official forms and documents. These include printing the electronic application form in color and double-sided, as well as the Applicant Information Form (Form 500) certified by the Graduate Studies Office, the Record of Activities Form (Form 501), the Written Undertaking Form (Form 504), and the Interview Form (Form 506), all to be submitted in color in accordance with the instructions.
He also emphasized the need to submit proficiency certificates in Arabic language, computer skills, and English language, in addition to graduation documents. Applicants for Higher Diploma and Master’s programs are required to submit a graduation certificate or an official confirmation addressed to the relevant authority, including the GPA (both numerically and in words), ranking, and the GPA of the top student for both morning and evening studies and for both examination rounds. Meanwhile, PhD applicants must submit graduation documents for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, including the GPA stated numerically and in words.
He further noted the importance of attaching colored copies of personal identification documents, along with nomination forms for applicants under special admission channels. These include Martyrs’ Families (Form 502), Political Prisoners (Form 503), those covered by the Compensation Law for Affected Individuals (Form 700), and those covered by the Law for the Care of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs (Form 600).
Regarding government employees, the college clarified the requirement to submit a letter of no objection from their department, with ministerial approval required if the GPA is below 65, in addition to a service summary, a certificate evaluation order, and the official university order for the latest degree obtained.
Dr. Jassim also pointed out a special case for applicants who were previously admitted to postgraduate studies in Iraq but had their enrollment cancelled, stating that they are only eligible to apply under the private (self-funded) channel, in accordance with the approved regulations.
He concluded by urging prospective applicants to adhere to the instructions and specified deadlines, and to carefully complete all application requirements to ensure a smooth admission process.
