Launch of Garden Fumigation Campaign at the College of Administration and Economics as Part of Sustainable Development Week at the University of Samarra

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Salam Ahmed, a campaign for fumigating the college gardens was launched on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, as part of the activities of Sustainable Development Week. This initiative reflects the college’s continuous commitment to promoting environmental awareness and reinforcing the concepts of sustainability within the university campus.

This field initiative embodied the college’s practical approach toward supporting the university environment through the implementation of realistic practices that contribute to spreading a culture of sustainability among students and encouraging them to adopt positive environmental behaviors.

In this context, the Dean of the College emphasized that sustainability begins within educational institutions through simple yet impactful practices that contribute to building responsible societal awareness. He also praised the efforts of the staff members who contributed to organizing this distinguished activity and highlighted its positive role in enhancing environmentally responsible behavior among students.
