University of Samarra implements programs to reduce parking areas and promote sustainable transportation
The University of Samarra announced the implementation of programs aimed at reducing reliance on private cars within the campus, through redesigning parking zones and limiting areas designated for students, in addition to providing free bicycle parking and encouraging carpooling initiatives.
The university confirmed that these measures are part of its plan to enhance sustainable transportation, improve traffic management, and reduce carbon emissions, contributing to better campus life quality and the development of a more environmentally friendly educational environment.
