Faculty Member from the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought Participates in a PhD Dissertation Defense on the Maqasid-Based Interpretation of Qur’anic Prohibitions
Assistant Professor Dr. I‘timad Ismail Jasim, a faculty member in the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, participated as a member of the PhD dissertation defense committee for the dissertation submitted by the student Munhal Subhi Dhnoon, entitled: “The Maqasid-Based Interpretation of Qur’anic Prohibitions from Surah Yusuf to the End of Surah An-Naml: An Applied Study.” The dissertation was defended in the Grand Discussion Hall of the aforementioned college.
Dr. I‘timad Ismail Jasim was selected to serve on the defense committee in recognition of her scholarly expertise and academic specialization, which closely align with the subject of the dissertation, thereby contributing to strengthening the scientific quality of the discussion and the evaluation of its findings.
