Physics Department Lecturer Publishes Scientific Research in a Global Journal Indexed in Scopus

Assistant Professor Dr. Hossam Abdulhamid Hussein, a lecturer in the Department of Physics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Samarra, has published a scientific research paper in an international journal issued by Mesopotamian Academic Press and indexed in Scopus within the first quartile (Q1).

The research was entitled: “Content Validity Testing of the Student Registration Instrument and Employees’ Intention to Adopt Blockchain-Based Certificate Verification.”

The study aimed to evaluate the content validity of a newly developed instrument designed to verify inaccurate certificates using blockchain technology. The Content Validity Index (CVI), based on Lynn’s methodology, was employed through the assessment of the instrument’s items by six experts in educational technology.

The analysis included calculating both the Item-Level Content Validity Index (I-CVI) and the Scale-Level Content Validity Index Average (S-CVI/Ave). The evaluation process led to the deletion or modification of several items, contributing to the development of a more accurate and reliable instrument.

The findings revealed that the final instrument consisted of validated items distributed across eight key domains: adoption intention, innovativeness, optimism, discomfort, insecurity, perceived complexity, perceived compatibility, and resistance to change. All domains achieved satisfactory S-CVI/Ave values ranging from 0.80 to 0.92, confirming the robustness of the instrument’s content and its readiness for further psychometric validation studies.
