Department of History Holds Its Regular Council Meeting to Discuss Academic and Administrative Affairs and Preparations for the Competitive Examination
The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Samarra, held its regular council meeting in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Badr Lafta Najm, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Jasim, and the faculty members of the department.
The council discussed a number of academic and organizational issues related to the progress of the educational process. It also reviewed the procedures for completing the final examinations of the current academic year and emphasized adherence to university regulations and instructions to ensure the smooth operation of academic and administrative activities.
The meeting also addressed preparations for the competitive examination for applicants to postgraduate studies. This included organizing the necessary requirements and distributing responsibilities among the specialized committees to provide a suitable examination environment and achieve the highest standards of accuracy and transparency.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees stressed the importance of continued coordination between the college administration and the academic department to accomplish assigned tasks within the specified timelines, thereby enhancing the quality of academic performance and supporting the college’s scientific and educational mission.
