International Academic Training Enhances Digital Research: Faculty Member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, Completes a Specialized Course from a British University

As part of his continuous efforts to develop his academic and research skills and keep pace with digital transformations in the field of scientific research, Assistant Professor Dr. Khidr Salah Mahdi, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, completed the international training course entitled “Digital Humanities: Humanities Research in the Digital Age,” offered by The Open University in the United Kingdom.

The course included a set of advanced scientific topics, covering an introduction to digital humanities, research methodologies in the digital environment, and mechanisms for analyzing and evaluating digital sources, in addition to employing modern technologies to develop scientific research and enhance its efficiency according to the latest academic practices.

Dr. Khidr Salah Mahdi successfully completed all course requirements and passed the required assessments, earning a Statement of Participation issued by the university, in recognition of his scientific competence and commitment to developing his professional expertise in accordance with international standards.
