Scientific Course Highlights the Impact of the Prophetic Method on Individual Education and Building an Integrated Personality

As part of ongoing academic efforts to promote educational values derived from the Prophetic Sunnah, the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Samarra, organized a scientific course titled “The Impact of the Prophetic Method on Individual Education.” The course addressed the importance of the Prophetic approach in developing a righteous individual and establishing a cohesive society.

The course explored the concept of the Prophetic educational method as a comprehensive system based on balanced divine and human principles, integrating spiritual and physical needs, and harmonizing reason with emotion. This approach contributed to the formation of a distinguished generation of Companions who embodied the highest standards of ethics, behavior, and leadership, becoming exemplary role models across various aspects of life.

The course included several academic sections: the first discussed the concept of the Prophetic educational method; the second examined its foundational principles in shaping individuals; the third focused on key pedagogical methods employed by the Prophet (peace be upon him); and the fourth highlighted its profound impact on building a well-rounded personality.

The course concluded by emphasizing that the Prophetic method represents a holistic educational model that integrates spiritual, ethical, and behavioral values, and that applying it in contemporary contexts contributes to individual and societal reform, fostering balance and stability across different dimensions of life.
