University of Samarra Rector Chairs Meeting to Determine Postgraduate Admissions Plan for 2026-2027
Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf chaired a meeting in his office to study and draw up the postgraduate admissions plan for the academic year 2026-2027 across all university formations.
The meeting included Professor Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, Vise Assistant of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Qutaiba Youssef Hamid, Director of the Department of Postgraduate Studies at the university.
The attendees discussed the number of postgraduate study seats (Master’s and Ph.D.) planned for inclusion in the admissions plan for the next academic year, in addition to their classification according to the admission channels.
In turn, the University Rector directed that the admission plans in the university’s colleges should take into account the precise specializations available within their teaching staff eligible to deliver lectures in postgraduate studies.
